World of Warcraft, the most famous MMORPG since Evercrack took second place, is losing subscribers at an alarming rate. Activision announced yesterday in a press release that the WoW subscription rate took 600,000-person loss in a three-month period. Read more »

In their first quarterly report, publisher EA Games revealed they now make more money from their downloadable content, mobile games, and web than they do from traditional physical media. The former pulled in $482 million this quarter, while discs lagged behind at $467 million. Read more »
