“Resident Evil 7” Reportedly In the Works

Said to "Go Back to Horror Roots"

According to Dr. Serkan Toto, a Tokyo-based analyst, claims that "Resident Evil 7" is in the works.

1) About Resident Evil 7: Yes, it's in development. The entire game will go back to RE's horror roots and (essentially) be a clean slate.

2) They will show it at E3. The RE7 team hired Jordan Amaro, a designer who previously worked on MGS V and P. T. at Kojima Productions. /end

This rumor goes back to the reports saying that Capcom is planning 3 major releases before April 2017. While one would be a "Monster Hunter" title and this one "Resident Evil 7" (still reportedly), the other one is completely unknown. These games could be revealed during E3 2016, as the previous report said that the games are expected to come before April 2017.
