Bethesda did something really special when it first resurrected the "Fallout" series in the fall of 2008 after it's ten year "hibernation." "Fallout 3" was cherished by both fans of the original game and newcomers to the series. It was a revolutionary game that brought a lot of new ideas to the action-RPG genre. When "Fallout: New Vegas" was released in 2010, it did nothing but rekindle that fans' love for world that Bethesda had crafted. During Bethesda's E3 press conference, they showed the new "DOOM" gameplay. It greatly resembles the carnage of the original "Doom" games as unspeaking monsters come to attack (presumably titled for the moment) Doom Guy. Enemies suffering damage via a x-ray on limbs occasionally showed up as Doom Guy shot at them so he can get a melee kill. Doom Guy also uses deceased workers' hands (by pulling them off) to get access to new places and gets a chainsaw to tear enemies apart in gruesome detail. The gameplay ended with a flying enemy killing the player. Read more »
