Microsoft Unveils “Recore”
Xbox One Exclusive
Following the "Halo 5" lead-in, Microsoft lifted the curtain on their forthcoming Xbox One exclusive, "Recore."
The announcement trailer featured no gameplay, and followed a woman and her cybernetic dog running through a desert wasteland battling robots.
The potential wrinkle in gameplay occurs when the main character's robot dog companion self-destructs to destroy the remaining enemies. The protagonist is distraught until she realizes what appears to be the dog's power source is left behind. She then takes this orb and places it in a nearby defunct robot. Note that Microsoft's conference provided little context following the unveiling, so this is all speculation based on the trailer.
