In this day and age, I'd say you'd be hard-pressed to find a gamer that hasn't played some sort of mech game. There are tons of games where you're a lone pilot in a cockpit, controlling a 100 ton bi-pedal killing machine, equipped with every manner of missile, gun and laser.
