Vibrantly Colored 3D Procedural “Izle” Is on Its Way!
New Sandbox Action-RPG Announced by Ex-Ubisoft Engineer
Paris-based developer Area Effect has announced a new sandbox action-RPG that is currently under development. "Izle" is set to feature procedural world generation, as well as the power to manipulate the surrounding environment with terraforming powers.
In "Izle" you play a character with these unique abilities, on a quest to rebuild the "last world of light." From the website: "With the help of the gods you will create procedurally generated islands, each one unique and filled with secrets." The game promises to allow you the freedom to create and make choices, and the available screen shots and trailer do that ideology much justice.
"Izle" is set to launch sometime in 2015 for PC via Steam, as well as Xbox One and Playstation 4. They are also working on a Kickstarter campaign that has yet to launch, we will update this article with that information once available.
