“Train Valley” Chugs Over to Steam Early Access
New Railway Management Sim for PC, Mac, and Linux
A new train management simulation game has arrived on Steam Early Access: "Train Valley" by Flazm Interactive Entertainment and Oroboro Games, out of Lithuania and Russia respectively.
In "Train Valley" you play as a railway line operator, and work to build a railroad network that connects cities big and small. The game takes place in Europe, America, Japan, and the USSR, and spans an impressive 150 year time line (1830 to 2020).
Tasked with the precise control, planning, and scheduling of a complete train network, you work to keep things moving and accident free. Many different game modes are available to immerse yourself in the simulation, including a Story Mode, Random Mode, and Sandbox Mode which all have different time and resource constraints placed on them. 15 different train engines are available to work towards, along with 18 different rail car types including various passenger and cargo transport cars.
The game made its way heartily through Steam Greenlight with over 10,000 positive votes, as well as capturing several gaming awards in its short life-span. The game is currently priced at $9.99/€9.99/£6.99 while in Steam Early Access. Check it out for yourself on Steam, or visit their website.
Train Valley Steams on to Early Access
VILNIUS, Lithuania –8th May 2015 – Flazm Interactive Entertainment and Oroboro Games, two independent development studios from Lithuania and Russia respectively, are stoked to announce (see what we did there?), that Train Valley, their railway management game for PC, Mac and Linux, has arrived bang on schedule (must be a German operator) on to Steam Early Access. Don’t forget to take your belongings with you.
Supported by over 10,000 players on Steam Greenlight and nominated for multiple game awards, Train Valley allows you to manage and construct the railway network of your dreams (or nightmares if you commute on the 07.15 from Biggleswade to Kings Cross), building railways, managing traffic and endeavouring to stay accident-free. Play in Europe, America, Japan and USSR from the years 1830 all the way through to 2020, from the Gold Rush of 1849 to the first manned space flight in the latter half of the 20th century and everything else in between (although probably not the national rail strike of 2012. That wasn’t fun for anyone).
