TellTale’s Game of Thrones, Screenshots Leaked -

TellTale Games' "Game of Thrones" is still expected to be released by the end of the month, and we are learning new information about the game every other day it seems. The typical teaser from TellTale has been a cryptic quote from a book that they post on their Twitter or maybe they "accidentally" let something slip in an interview. Just recently, they gave us some specific details about the game's story. In the past day, however, we've gotten something new and more concrete.

Screenshots were leaked.

According to Kokaku, the images were first released via this Twitter account, but the original tweet with the screenshots has since been taken down. Let's get to it:

This character appears to be new to the series, so it is suspected that this is one of the protagonists that the player will be responsible for. From this image, it looks as though he is a son of the Forresters (notice their sigil in the background on the keep) and being sent off for some reason.

It wouldn't be a "Game of Thrones" game without a little bit of blood. In this image, we see the same character as in the first image being protected by an old knight. The fact that the character warrants being protected by a knight furthers the theory that he is of noble birth (or maybe it's just proof that the knight is a really nice guy and will protect anyone).

A noblewoman with the house symbol for Forrester behind her. Before the TellTale Game, the Forresters had never been really fleshed out in the books or in the show - just the occasional mention. We can probably assume that TellTale created that symbol for them with some guidance from George R. R. Martin. Throughout the development process, Ty Corey Franck (personal assistant to George R. R. Martin) has been assisting TellTale in story development.

Another character that we are assuming to be a protagonist in the game. TellTale has already told us that the game will feature five playable characters. The hard part is trying to figure out which ones.

TellTale Games has already told us that we'll be seeing a lot of Westeros in this game, including King's Landing, so we'll probably be paying visits to a lot of characters from the show - like Cersei Lannister.

And her brother (and fan favorite), Tyrion Lannister. TellTale has told us that the game will run with the show and cover events from the end of Season 3 to the beginning of Season 5. The scar on Tyrion's nose confirms that.

It also looks like we'll be interacting with the Would-be-Queen Margaery Tyrell. There is no word yet if the actual actors will be doing the voices for their characters in the game.

So far, there hasn't been any word from Telltale Games confirming or denying these images, but based solely on the graphical style of the screenshots, we can certainly say that they look like they came from a TellTale game.

The game is still scheduled for release by the end of 2014, and will be available on PC, XBox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Mac OS.
