Telltale Games Revealed the "Penultimate Episode" of "The Walking Dead: Season 2"
After finishing up the first season of "The Wolf Among Us," Telltale Games made a quick dash to get the next episode of their other franchise, "The Walking Dead," out before the end of the month.
The announcement, accompanied by a teaser video, says this is the penultimate episode in the season, bringing the player to the choice of what party to keep going with and who to save. In desperate times, who do you want Clementine to keep in the group?
"The Walking Dead: Season 2" has followed the events after the first season (warning: spoilers ahead), but instead of following Lee Everett, players follow the life of Clementine, the young girl Lee found in the first episode. All of the choices Lee made regarding Clementine have slowly filtered through into the second season.
After escaping the clutches of Carver and his gang, Clementine has to escape the herd of zombies, all the while keeping the tensions in the group from rising. Each player has their own idea of what to do, but Clementine is still on the fence when it comes to who she wants to follow.
The new episode will be coming to PC, Mac OS, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita on July 22. The Xbox 360 version launches on July 23, and the day after the iOS version will be available for iPad and iPhone users. At the end of "Season 2," we expect Telltale to focus on releasing the full season on Xbox One, PS4 and Android.
