“Tekken 7” Screenshots Reveal New Characters
New Challengers Enter the Ring!
"Tekken 7" was revealed at this years EVO, and since that time it has seen some new screens in addition to two new characters.
Claudio (pictured above), looks a whole lot like Maxi from the "Soul Calibur" series. The other character's name is Katarina, but little more is known than that.
Currently, "Tekken 7" is only available in select arcades in Japan and will have the new mechanics for players to play test this weekend. Some of the new features available will include "power crush," which allows you to take several hits as you attempt a move (very similar to the mechanic of the "focus attack" in the "Street Fighter IV" series). This mechanic will be in the version as well as the two new characters and the roster of the old favorites.
"Tekken 7" has no solid release date at this point. When it gets one Player Theory will have all the details.
