Squid Sister Amiibo for “Splatoon” Announced

Previous Squid Figures Also Repainted

Nintendo has revealed new "Splatoon" amiibo figures, which includes the Squid Sisters Callie and Marie and repainted figures of the previously released squid figures.

What the sisters unlock are new songs and in-game clips of their performances. Whether they unlock more or if the repainted figures do anything different isn't known at the moment. The new amiibo launches first in Japan on July 7, 2016 while elsewhere on July 8. While Japan will get individual figures while the Squid Sisters will only be available in a 2-pack and the orange squid in a 3-pack, just like the green squid before it.
