Rumor: “Fallout 4” All But Officially Confirmed
Leaks....leaks never change....
Over the last week or so, we've been all over Rumor City about whispers of an upcoming "Fallout 4" announcement. Bethesda has said nothing about the project, despite it being on everyone's mind with their first-ever conference at E3 this year. What else would they be announcing?!
Well, today, all the fans of the Wastelands got a little unofficial confirmation from a production company that appears to be doing some work on the game. One of the artists from Miranda Studios updated their LinkedIn profile stating that they had worked on the cinematic "Fallout 4" trailer.
From the LinkedIn, we learn that this particular artist worked on the trailer from December 2014 to March 2015 - a solid four months to work out a possible announcement trailer for E3 this year.
You may also be excited to learn that Miranda Studios is a production company formed, in part, by Guillermo del Toro. It doesn't mean that he had any part in this trailer, but coming from a studio that has produced things like 'Pacific Rim,' 'Pan's Labyrith' and the Hellboy movies, I, personally, like to think that this trailer will be something to appreciate.
There has still been no official word from Bethesda on this latest leak, so don't on your Pip-Boy and start partying just yet, but still, as far as leaks and rumors go, this one certainly seems to have some real weight to it.
Who knows though? Maybe "Fallout 4 Cinematic Trailer" is just code for Bethesda's new "Dishonored-based strategy card game" and this whole thing is just a crazy ruse. Player Theory will keep it's ear to the ground and let you know as this story develops!
