Revealed: “Gears of War Ultimate Edition” Launch Trailer
The nostalgia is strong with this one...
With less than ten days before the release of "Gears of War Ultimate Edition," XBox has released a launch trailer with a very familiar tune.
Anyone with a TV around the time that the original "Gears of War" was released probably remembers the sober trailer set to Gary Jules' "Mad World." It was everywhere, and as far as video game trailers go, it was perfect. The Ultimate Edition launch trailer obviously wanted to highlight what is new and improved about this new remastered version - the 1080P, the 60fps multiplayer and the five new campaign chapters that were never released on the original XBox. It definitely has something for anyone that's never played a "Gears of War" game or for the die-hard fan that wants to revisit an improved beginning.
"Gears of War Ultimate Edition" is due for release on August 25th on the XBox One. If you're curious, here is the original trailer for the game, which was released in 2006. Enjoy the memories.
