Reddit Modder Finds Way to Play NPCs in “Mortal Kombat X”

With Unique Movesets Too

Modder XVermillion discovered a way to play as unplayable characters in "Mortal Kombat X" for the PC.

The characters that can be fought but not played as - Sindel, Baraka, and Rain - have data in the game. All XVermillion needed to do is make the game think that the character used is Shinnok but instead use another characters model and move-set. However, it should be noted that these characters only have one style of fighting, as opposed to the three each character has to use, and don't have x-ray attacks or fatalities. The move-sets also look like they are straight from "Mortal Kombat (2011)."
