More DLC Incoming
Nintendo opted to have a small Nintendo Direct just for "Super Smash Bros." and the upcoming updates.
With Lucas releasing right after the Direct, there's more content to follow. Roy has been reintroduced as one of the returning characters from "Super Smash Bros. Melee." He will be available alongside Lucas.
Miis will be getting costumes MegaMan.EXE, Zero, Isabelle, Inkling Boy & Inkling Girl and Squid Hat, Jacky and Akira from "Virtua Fighter." Miis will also be getting amiibo that you can customize as well, along with R.O.B., Mr. Game & Watch (with different poses), Duck Hunt, and Falco will be coming, as well. All of these amiibo except for Falco will be launching aside wave 5b in September.
Dream Land from the original "Super Smash Bros." on the Nintnedo 64 will be returning, along with Hyrule Castle and Mushroom Kingdom from the fist game. he Miiverse Stage was also shown in motion, and will be free.
Tourney mode was also detailed. The development has been completed, but they want to test the online functionality. It'll be available sometime in August.
Anyone can upload replays onto YouTube using a Google account.
Ryu will also be joining "Super Smash Bros." with his trademark attacks. He also has two versions of a Final Smash. His attacks are based on how you press the button and familiar "Street Fighter" inputs. Heihachi from "Tekken" is also available as a Mii costume. Suzaku Castle will be Ryu's stage for the game. Ryu will be available once the presentation ends.
Mewtwo, Lucas, Roy, and Ryu will be getting amiibo sometime in the future.
