“Pokken Tournament” Adds Pikachu, Suicune, & Gardevoir

New Gameplay Also Shows Assists

"Pokken Tournament" has revealed more of its fighters and gameplay mechanics thanks to Serebii.net (with GoNintendo keeping a complete track of tweets made by Serebii.net).

Pikachu, Suicune, and Gardevoir have been confirmed as playable fighters. Additional gameplay footage shows that fights will be similar to a 3D "Tekken" game with high-speed action and special moves originating from the "Pokemon" games. Certain Pokemon, such as Lapras and Fennekin, will serve as assists to help fight.

Further images shown reveal images for the first arcade cabinets and the controller, which has an identical button layout for the Wii U.
