Nvidia Game24
Nvidia's 24-Hour PC Gaming Event
The long list of reasons to devote a day or weekend to gaming of any kind is growing by one. On Sept. 18 at 6 PM PDT, Nvidia is kicking off their first, 24-hour long celebration of PC gaming called Game24.
Game24 will launch live at multiple physical locations around the world, and of course, streamed online. Nvidia's site promises a DOTA2 Inivitational, interviews with developers from Epic, Ubisoft, and Blizzard among others, product releases (presumably their new GeForce GTX 980 and GTX 970 graphics cards), and "prizes and giveaways."
There is also a rumor floating around some gaming and tech sites reporting that Forbes intercepted an email that AMD was planning to send to their consumers stating, "We believe there is no such thing as a bad celebration of gaming, so we warmly encourage you to attend this event in person." Apparently AMD feels that Nvidia is jumping on their AMD30Live bandwagon, so look for the peeps in red looking to cause a ruckus.
If you'd like to get involved or want to learn where to watch the stream, visit Nvidia's Game24 site on the day of the event.
