Norman Reedus and Kojima “Reunite”
Kojima's Company Will Update Sometime After
Game designer Hideo Kojima posted to Twitter with a picture with actor Norman Reedus, with the tweet stating, "Reunion with Norman Reedus. Giving update about my own company."
This tweet follows an on-going string of news involving the now-cancelled game "Silent Hills," Hideo Kojima, and publisher Konami. Due to internal disputes between Konami and Kojima, a fallout occurred, which led to certain elements of "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" getting cut from the game, employment changes, "Silent Hills" being cancelled, and Kojima leaving Konami to form his own private studios Kojima Productions (which his previous team was called at Konami).
Now that Kojima has his own team separate from Konami, having a partnership with Sony (for his team's first new game anyways), and has been talking to Guillermo del Toro once more, who was also part of "Silent Hills," Norman Reedus may or may not be joining the effort to make a new game. Reedus was supposed to be the actor, voice, looks, and supposed screen capture, for the main character of "Silent Hills." However, this picture could very well be a simple reunion picture and Kojima just wanted to catch up with Reedus.
In any case, Kojima will give an update on his company in the near future. How soon will that be? That isn't for sure, but expect something Kojima Productions soon.
