Nintendo Denies Wii U Production Halt

Production Continues!

Following the previous report of Nintendo stopping production on Wii U consoles, Nintendo has responded to the reports via IT Media by denying the rumor. Twitter user ZhugeEX translated the Japanese into English.

It should be noted that the previous report was not necessarily false, as evidence by the translated quote on Twitter:

The [Nikkei] report did not come from within our company. The company plans to continue production through [and beyond] the next fiscal year.

Whether Nintendo follows through with their plan towards the end of 2016 isn't known, as plans change. Player Theory will update should other reports/official confirmations are made.
