New “Friday the 13th” Game In Development
Heading Back to Camp Crystal Lake
Jason Voorhees, the iconic slasher antagonist from the "Friday the 13th" series, isn't quite done in the realm of video games. According to EGM Now, this "Friday the 13th" game is being developed by an "experienced game studio" and will reportedly be out in October 2015.
Just in time for Halloween.
Not much else is known about the game other than the premise. This "Friday the 13th" game will have cooperative and competitive gameplay, where a team has to work together to survive against one player who plays as Jason.
The new "Friday the 13th" game follows the last one, which happens to be the NES version. The NES "Friday the 13th" is regarded as one of the worst games in the NES library and of all time.
