New “Dissidia Final Fantasy” Announced

3-on-3 Battles Galore

Square Enix revealed a trailer for a new "Dissidia Final Fantasy."

This new "Dissidia Final Fantasy" features 3-on-3 character fights with dynamic arenas. The characters shown so far include returning veterans Warrior of Light (FFI), Onion Knight (FFIII), Terra (FFVI), Cloud (FFVII), and Lightning (FFXIII). A new character was revealed, Y'Shtola from "Final Fantasy XIV." The game will be a reboot based on the previous installments.

So far, the title has only been announced for Japanese arcades, similar to "Tekken 7" and "Pokken Tournament." According to IGN, Square Enix is holding an event on April 10, which we may see additional information.
