“Musical Resident Evil” Is a Real Thing

As reported by Kotaku, "Musical Resident Evil" (whether that's the final name or not isn't known) is happening. For real.

The stage show will star Reon Yuzuki (a woman) who is known for playing male characters. What character in the show that she will be portraying is not known yet, as this will be an original musical and not necessarily based on any particular "Resident Evil" title. She could play a completely new character or an existing character. The stage show is set to run in Tokyo from September to October and in Osaka in November.

Interestingly, Capcom will be involved in the production in some form.
