Molyneux Would Still Love To Do “Fable 4”
Molyneux: "I'd totally be up for it"
While the recent closure of the UK-based Lionhead Studios is a sad time all-around, it may not necessarily mean the end for the "Fable" series. In fact, in an interview with Eurogamer regarding Lionhead's closure, Peter Molyneux said he'd be up for making a "Fable 4."
"When I finish what I'm working on now, if someone comes to me and asks, hey, do you want to do Fable 4, I'd totally be up for it." He even added that he'd want to bring the series' original creators, Dene and Simon Carter, back. "I would get Dene back. I would get Simon back. And I would remake this world. It's such a rich world and there are so many avenues we didn't explore. That would be really good fun to do. And I'd still want the equivalent of another dog."
Molyneux was one of the original founders at Lionhead and had worked on every "Fable" game until "Fable: The Journey" in 2012, after which he left to join 22Cans. Molyneux has become rather infamous for his constant hyperbole and making promises and failing to keep them, so it's best recommended to not get too excited at this prospect.
