Maya Joins “Killer Instinct” Season Two Roster
But Not the Maya You Once Knew
Last November, "Killer Instinct" launched with the Xbox One with promises to expand the roster as time went on. Almost a year later, season two revealed a playable demo at TGS of the newest character, Maya.
The first character announced for season two was a fan favorite, TJ Combo. Followed by an odd character choice is Maya, originally from "Killer Instinct Gold" on the Nintendo 64. Her style seems to be completely different from the old days with the ability to throw her daggers. This leads to some pretty nasty combos, with the drawback of having to retrieve them after they've been thrown. Not too long ago, we were privileged to see her Ultra Combo trailer, and she is looking like a very unique edition to the cast.
