“Mass Effect Andromeda’s” Director Leaves Bioware
Game Is Reportedly Still On Track
According to Chris Wynn, senior development director for "Mass Effect Andromeda," is leaving BioWare and "Mass Effect."
It is with a heavy heart today to say that I am moving on from BioWare and Mass Effect: Andromeda, and returning to the USA.
The Andromeda team is the most talented team that I have ever worked with, truly inspiring to have worked with you each and every day.

BioWare, according to GameInformer, has released a statement on the director leaving:
Chris was a great member of the team. We want to thank him for his contributions and we wish him the best in his new adventures. Development of Mass Effect Andromeda continues to move full speed ahead at BioWare Montreal, Edmonton and Austin.
Whether or not Wynn's departure from BioWare will affect the game is unknown, regardless of BioWare's word (games can easily be delayed). Two possible outcomes can come of this: "Mass Effect: Andromeda" may be delayed to make up any possible problems the game's departure makes or the game may be rushed. As it stands as of this writing, there is still a lot unknown about "Mass Effect Andromeda."
