“LEGO Dimensions” Officially Revealed

Coming to Join "Disney Infinity," "Skylanders," and Amiibo with Figures

A new Lego game titled "LEGO Dimensions" has been officially revealed.

"LEGO Dimensions" will function similarly to "Disney Infinity" and "Skylanders" (and to a lesser extend amiibo) as "LEGO" figures of characters can be scanned in to a dock looking like a dimensional portal. However, true to "LEGO" fashion, you get to build the portal yourself as the starter pack priced at $99.99 is set exactly like a traditional Lego product. Characters come from several franchises including DC Comics, "The Lord of the Rings," "The Lego Movie," "Back to the Future," "The Wizard of Oz," "LEGO Ninjago," and more to come. There will be additional packs with more characters priced at $14.99 and $24.99.

"LEGO Dimensions" will be releasing on Sept. 27 on Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
