According to 2ch (which has been translated by Kotaku), Konami has been discussing the next "Metal Gear" game.

As to what the possible game is, isn't known. It could be an canonical entry with stealth as a main focus or a pachinko machine/mobile game.

In related news, George Broussard tweeted that Kojima Productions LA, the studio responsible for "Metal Gear Online," has been shut down. However, Konami hasn't officially given a statement about the supposed closure, as sources are still trying to clarify the accuracy of the tweets and trying to contact Konami directly.
