“Hitman (2016)” Physical Disc Coming in 2017

Does That Make It Both "Hitman 2016 & 2017?"

“Hitman (2016)” Physical Disc Coming in 2017 - Does That Make It Both

With the first episode of "Hitman (2016)," subtitled "Paris," coming out on March 11, Square Enix announced that the physical disc version of the game will be pushed back into 2017. IGN was given a response from Square Enix giving clarity to the matter.

This year is all about delivering the best episodic experience for Hitman and that takes us to Autumn/Fall. Releasing the disc version in January just makes sure we have enough time after the season concludes to dedicate to getting the best disc version of the game out.

The episodes are split up into 6, starting with Paris, then going to Sapienza in April, Marrakesh in May, and Thailand, US, and Japan with unknown release dates. Those who are going with the digital route, the starting price is $15 for just Paris, with $10 for the rest of the maps. There's the Upgrade Pack, which will get you the rest of the maps if you already purchased one. Lastly, there's the Full Experience, which will cost $60. For those who are keeping track, going with the $15 purchase and either purchasing other maps/upgrading later, that will cost you an additional $5 if you don't go with the Full Experience.
