Hidden Files in Newest “Super Smash Bros.” Update Point to “Street Fighter’s” Ryu as DLC
Roy and Lucas Song Files in There Too
Reddit user shinyquagsire23 went fishing around the code for the newest "Super Smash Bros." Wii U/3DS update. Originally launched to incorporate sharing, new costumes for Miis, and Mewtwo, shinyquasire also found some interesting files that aren't used just yet.
New sound files include ones for Mewtwo and Lucas - both of which have been confirmed to be DLC characters for the game. In addition to that, however, shinyquagsire23 found sound files for Roy from "Fire Emblem" (not Roy of the Koopalings) and Ryu from "Street Fighter." This could indicate that Ryu and Roy will be the next characters to be DLC ahead of the Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot.
It should be noted, however, that while there are sound files, Roy and Ryu haven't been confirmed to be DLC. There are also files for Ice Climbers, who were cut because of the 3DS's hardware limitations. Also, this could bea hoax just like Rayman popping up a while back.
