“Gears of War 4” Release Date Revealed
Giving Monsters the Boot in October
EW exclusively revealed that Microsoft's "Gears of War 4" will be launching world wide on October 11, 2016.
The game is set 25 years after the events of "Gears of War 3," where we follow the three protagonists JD Fenix, Kait Diaz, and Del Walker as they fight a new enemy. What they are isn't exactly known just yet, whereas the new protagonists are younger in age- around 20 years in age- and JD is the son of Marcus and Anya from the original "Gears of War" trilogy.
The beta for the game, which that and the final product, will have split-screen co-op. For those who bought "Gears of War Ultimate Edition," the beta will be available on April 18 while all those with Xbox Gold will be able to participate on April 25- ending May 1.
