“Fire Emblem If” Drops Weapon Usage
Also Comes with Phoenix Mode
Gematsu has translated a recent article featuring news on "Fire Emblem If."
The protagonist will have customizable names, appearance, gender, and voice. Additionally, one of the biggest changes comes in the form of weapon usage limit being dropped. As opposed to having to manage multiple weapons of the same type at once, their will just be one weapon that survives throughout the whole game. Next to Causal Mode, which revives fallen units, a new Phoenix Mode has been introduced, which revives fallen units not at the end of the level but instead at the end of the turn.
Additionally, there will be something called "Dragon Pulse," which royal characters can make changes to the battlefield. There will be nine save files at the start, and they're be three increased with each new scenario released.
"Fire Emblem If" releases first in Japan on Jun 26, 2015 and later for North America and Europe some time in 2016.
