“Final Fantasy VII” & More Getting Physical PC Releases
Two Bundle Packs Coming Next Month
Though we live in a world where we can simply download the next big triple-A blockbuster straight into our consoles, there's still a large number of us that still love getting hold of a physical copy. There's just something about holding a fresh, new box and removing the disc that's still appealing. And for that specific group of people who are also PC gamers and fans of the "Final Fantasy" series, certain Amazon listings might just get you excited.
According to the listings, four entries in Square Enix's JRPG series will be receiving physical releases in two seperate bundles. One bundle will contain "Final Fantasy III & IV"; the other will have "Final Fantasy VII & VIII." Both bundles will apparently be released on May 27th for £19.99 each. Not a bad price for essentially two full-length RPGs.
It should be noted, however, that the discs won't contain the full game. Amazon says that an "internet connection [is] needed for full data download. You can also probably expect that the "VII & VIII" bundle will contain the enhanced versions of the game that are already out on Steam.
Also, as a related reminder, the next main entry in the franchise, "Final Fantasy XV," is due for release this year on PS4 and Xbox One. It will be out September 30th.
