“Elder Scrolls: Online” Coming to Steam Today
Bethesda Announces that "Elder Scrolls" MMORPG is Coming to Steam Users
QuakeCon 2014 officially begins today, and the fans in Dallas begin to set up camp for the weekend. The @QuakeCon Twitter feed is alive with chatter as the weekend warriors arrive for the B.Y.O.C event. @QuakeCon even tweeted a picture of the first eager entrant in the B.Y.O.C area … framed forever now on the #twitterverse. (That’s a real place, trust me.)
Not only is it Day 0 for the event, but Bethesda came out swinging with an announcement of their own: "The Elder Scrolls: Online” is coming to Steam today.
Beginning later today, both "The Elder Scrolls: Online Standard Edition" and "Imperial Edition" will be available for purchase. Tracey Thompson – Global Public Relations
As of today, Steam users can log onto their accounts and access to "The Elder Scrolls: Online” world and start slaying and battling their way through the land of Tamriel. Molag Bal may await, but be aware before you click that “Elder Scrolls: Online” is a pay-to-play, subscription-based title with unlimited play for the first 30 days of purchase.
QuakeCon 2014 will also host, as previously promised, an “Elder Scrolls: Online” PvP tournament which will be streamed live at this year’s event.
QuakeCon may have just begun, but we have certainly not finished covering it.
