“Destiny: The Dark Below” Expansion Details Revealed

Level Cap Increase, New Strikes, and Much More

Bungie has officially released information about the first expansion its flagship shooter "Destiny."

For $19.99 (assuming you haven't bought the season pass), players will receive an increase in light level cap (to 32), five new bounty slots, an additional strike (or two if you're playing on PS3 or PS4), and three new PvP arenas.

The story will also continue by focusing on a new character named "Eris," who has been hiding among the Hive for quite some time. She only comes forward to warn you about a god, known as Crota, being summoned by the Hive. She also offers special quests and three brand new story missions.

Additionally, high level players can look forward to a new raid known as "Crota's End," where players will no doubt band together to destroy this Hive god who is bent on the annihilation of Earth.
