“Destiny” Going Offline For Maintenance
Prepare for the Four Hour Gap of Darkness
Bad news, Guardians! "Destiny" is going to be offline for a few hours on Thursday, Nov. 13 for approximately four hours.
The service will be down beginning at 8:00 a.m. PDT and should be back online by midday. All of this is in preparation for a series of updates Bungie has planned for the coming weeks.
On a brighter note, this update should bring a variety of improvements to the game. Some of these improvements include new shaders, improved previews, increased odds for public events, alterations to the upgrade materials, an improved cryptarch (hooray!), and a plethora of technical fixes.
It looks like good news overall for "Destiny," and just in time for the first expansion. Hopefully the cryptarch really does get fixed for good this time.
