Deadbreed is a Free-to-play Gothic RPG Online Battle Arena, Diablo meets League of legends with just a dash of the demonic.
Deadbreed promises to give player unprecedented character customizability and RPG gameplay as the items you equip, not only decide the way the character looks in game, but dictate the way it moves and attacks to.
The game features a new, self-proclaimed darker breed of hero. Choose from three distinct types of breed, depending on your personal taste in look and style of play, may it be Nightbreed, Halfbreed or Daybreed. Each has their own unique look and style, with just a few of the features being that the sight range of Night- and Daybreed varies with the day cycles in game and that some items can be limited to a specific breed.
Equip a sword and shield will turn your character into a melee fighter, while re-equipping the same character with a bow, changes the attack style and ups your range to that of an archer. You can take on the role of any character as any class, be it fighter, mage, tank or assassin and change equipment mid-game to change your playstyle and change the potential outcome of the game. The game encourages players to experiment with item builds in order to explore what’s best suited for each character’s abilities, the opponents you face and games scenarios you have to deal with.
Three different arenas are available to compete in, where the ultimate goal is to beat back the enemy team and break through the enemies gates to gain access to their citadel. The practice game kicks off with The Graveyard. At its core, the Graveyard is a 3vs3 two-lane map with a Citadel at each end protected by monoliths. Once inside the citadel you must defeat the enemy team’s massive Sentinel end boss. A creature controlled by the best player on the enemy team and acting as the final challenge.
As with most MMOBA’s the arena you fight in offers tactical options that will aid in the way the game is played; It could be a troll that can be summoned to fight for your team, transforming into a giant golem or ringing the bell of bones to call upon an army of the undead.
The game features both ranked and unranked play so whether your looking to experiment with a character or dive straight into the competitive scene and dirty your blades most players will find something to try out.
