Majesco announced tidat that "Cooking Mama 5: Bon Appetit" will hit North American handhelds Sept. 16.

"Cooking Mama" offers 30 activities to partake in including feeding pets, serving ice cream, and participating in word games. There is also promise of multiplayer for up to four players with single-cart download play, meaning only one copy will allow multiplayer for multiple 3DS handhelds.

The "Cooking Mama" series has a cult following but never really took off, selling 13 million copies worldwide. The new game will feature 60 new recipes to cook up including chicken nuggets and gingerbread cookies.
