Composer may have Inadvertently Announced Far Cry 4

Cliff Martinez reveals he’s composing soundtrack for Ubisoft’s next instalment

In an interview with Lost in the Multiplex, composer Cliff Martinez said he is currently working on “a video game called Far Cry 4.” This is despite the fact that Ubisoft has not officially announced a follow-up to last year's Far Cry 3. The comment has since been deleted from the article, but not before Joystiq was able to snap a screencap of the misstep.

Best known for his work in Nicolas Refn’s 2011 film “Drive”, Martinez’s work emphasizes moody beats with 80s synth flair. Understanding Ubisoft’s soft-spot for 80s nostalgia, Martinez may be a perfect fit for Far Cry’s next instalment.
