Blizzard’s Yearly Convention to Release New Information on Blizzard Games

Blizzcon 2013 Opens Nov. 7 - Blizzard’s Yearly Convention to Release New Information on Blizzard Games

Blizzcon opens this Thursday, Nov. 7 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Ca. to hordes of ecstatic fans of the "Warcraft," "Starcraft," and "Diablo" universes. This particular Blizzcon also marks the return to the celebration of Blizzard’s long-standing IPs after a lull prompted the developer to cancel the convention last year.

Just yesterday, Blizzard registered a trademark for “Warlords of Draenor” in New Zealand and Australia. “Warlords of Draenor” was registered for:

Class: 9 computer game software, computer game discs, downloadable computer game software, download, computer game software downloadable from a global computer network, interactive multimedia computer game; Downloadable electronic game software for use on portable electronic devices such as mobile and cellular phones, laptops, handheld computers, and tablet PCs”

as well as:

Class: 41 Entertainment services, namely, providing on-line computer games; providing on-line non-downloadable computer games that may be accessed via a global computer network; providing online news and information in the field of computer games”

The trademark follows the registration of a Warlords of Draenor website a month ago.

The news hints strongly at another expansion that features the return of the Burning Legion. Fans of “World of Warcraft” may get to contend with even more demons from other worlds intent on the destruction of Azeroth and its heroes.
