Battle The New Gods Of The Fourth World In DC Universe Online - This Summer, New DLC Arrives on DC Universe Online

SOE (Sony Online Entertainment), the mind behind "DC Universe Online" recently announced a new chapter and DLC for the DC Universe titled “Halls of Power Part 1." This is DC Universe's 11th DLC and expands story lines for players as they explore further into the DC mythos and origins of the "Fourth World’.'

Players will be thrust into the battle between the "New Gods" of Apokolips and New Genesis as they wage war in the search for weapons and artifacts of a past, long lost to time. For this journey players will have a new set of raids, alerts and operations consisting of five all-new multiplayer adventures: two eight-player raids, one eight-player operation, one four-player alert, and one four-player operation.

Darkseid's son, Kalibak, and the villainous Mantis have called upon the agents of Darkseid to search the dark places of New Genesis and Apokolips to retrieve powerful and ancient relics for a dark purpose. To combat this threat, and for the first time ever, players can play with or against the iconic villains and heroes from the Fourth World. Kalibak, Mantis, Mister Miracle, and Big Barda all make and appearance and they are all key figures in the Fourth World arc. Players can join them to help shape the future of the DC universe. You can aid or you can hinder; the choice is ultimately yours.

It’s a free download if you subscribe to "DCUO." You can also purchase the DLC via the PlayStation store (for PS3/PS4 players) or directly via the DC Universe Online website.

We know our players experience a tremendous sense of camaraderie when they take on adventures together, so we wanted to pack a variety of challenging group content into this DLC that we know they will enjoy. We're also expanding the "DCUO" storyline, introducing players to characters from both New Genesis and Apokolips, and we think heroes and villains alike will be very pleased with how the Halls of Power trilogy evolves.
