Arcade “Dissidia Final Fantasy” Only Launching with 14 Characters

More Characters to Be Added with Post-Launch Updates

As previously noted that there will be 50 characters for the new "Dissidia Final Fantasy" game, that won't necessarily be the case for the arcade game when it releases. According to Gematsu, the arcade port will not release with 50 characters at the start but with 14 instead.

As of now, those characters include Cloud Strife, Terra Branford, Warrior of Light, Onion Knight, Lightning, Y'Shtola, and Ramza Beoulve with the other seven to be confirmed later. However, the other characters will be added via post-launch updates. For the supposed console port, all the characters will likely be available in some form that isn't through updates.
