“Amiibo Touch & Play” Coming to Europe 4/30

North American Release to Be Announced Later

Nintendo of Europe has announced that "Amiibo: Touch & Play," otherwise known as "Amiibo Tap: Nintendo's Greatest Bits" in North America, will be a free download in Europe for April 30. The North American release date has yet to be announced.

With amiibo, players can unlock short bits of classic games for a limited amount of time until a new segment is selected. Despite what many would think, a Mario amiibo does not necessarily unlock "Super Mario" game segments but can unlock "Metroid" segments.
