“Age of Mythology: Extended Edition” Due Out on Steam May 8

HD Rerelease Included Updated Visuals and More

The Steam storefront has updated to include details on the re-release of 2002's "Age of Mythology," due out May 8 via the digital distributor.

The "Extended Edition" makes use of post-2002 technology to accommodate for improved lighting, water, and anti-aliasing effects. In addition, "AoM:EE" will include the "Titans" expansion, Twitch support, Steam Workshop integration, multiplayer, and achievements. The full list of additions can be found here.

Required hardware specs are as follows:

• OS: Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8.1.


• Direct X 10+ Capable GPU.


• Direct X Compatible Sound Card.


• 3GB RAM.


• GPU at least Integrated HD 3000, X1950, 8600GT.
